About Your Instructor

Roop Singh is founder and principal at Intuit Factory, a blockchain business strategy consulting firm. He is cofounder of a stealth startup in the blockchain space.
Prior to focusing on blockchain, Roop was a business transformation leader whose expertise included business process management, business architecture, customer experience management, and aligning strategy and operational process excellence for corporations including AT&T, Cox Enterprises, The Home Depot, IHG and SecureWorks. He also worked with United Nations programs, nonprofits and startups.
Described by colleagues as “the master of untangling” and renowned for his ability to help others understand complex business processes, Roop is an in-demand trainer and coach who helps Fortune 100 and Global 2000 clients understand and implement blockchain. Recent speaking engagements include Emory University, Harvard University and TedxAtlanta, among others.
He also is active in community and professional organizations, including serving on the board of the Georgia Indo-American Chamber of Commerce; the executive team of TiE Atlanta, a leading chapter of the global entrepreneur development network; and the advisory board of the Process Excellence Network.
Roop is a Certified Process Professional Master with the BP Group and holds an Advanced Business Certificate in Business Process Management from the Objects Management Group. He holds an M.S. in information systems from Georgia State’s Robinson College of Business and an undergraduate degree in computer science and engineering from Mysore University in India. His research interests include data management, artificial intelligence, and ontology management and semantics.
